From the forest car park off the A97 on the east side of the hill at NJ 39611 13925. Took forest tracks up to NJ 38388 13959, from where a path zig-zags up through the Storm Arwen-damaged forest and out onto moorland to the top. The path has now been cleared of fallen trees. Return by outward route. With DB, RP and BC. 5.9km, with 325m of ascent.
