Solo. From the gate on the B827 road at the start of an ATV track that goes SW (very wet today). At the point where the track goes down to Corriebeagh Burn left the track and went above the gorge for a bit before ascending more or less straight to the summit of Ben Clach. Hard going with lots of tussocky grass but getting easier higher up. Summit area covered with heather. Descended on E side of Allt Coire a' Chroisg, thinking it might be easier this way but it wasn't. A beautiful sunny day.
