"The Hoosier National Forest highpoint (Bald Knobs) was a relative easy .4 miles hike from a road located to the NE. There were many posted signs on both sides of this road, but fortunately, there were no discouraging signs near the trailhead my son, Marshall, and I found at the crest of a hill on this road. We followed an unmaintained trail here to the SW. As expected, there were no views from the summit due to the trees." — Stewy • Nov 8, 2014
"We felt a little uncomfortable attempting this summit with all the "No Tresspassing" signs. This is the highest point in the Hoosier National Forest and there weren't any houses or traffic so we found a place to pull off the road and made the accent. There were loggers timbering some areas and we did come across a few empty deer stands. We bushwhacked to the summit without any problems." — marshallstewart • Nov 8, 2014
