"Went to Rottnest to the quokkas. Saw them, then felt an urge to climb. Wadjemup Hill is the island high point and has a lighthouse on the top. About 5km hike from the Settlement. " — jak5280 • Mar 3, 2024
"Nice diversion from the Gunbarrel Highway. Parked near the information kiosk then walked up the informal trail to the top. I also drove up the following morning. There are also two roads you can drive to the top; the one going up from the east side of the mountain is probably the easier of the two." — Candace-Skalet • Aug 14, 2019

• There is a log book at the summit where you can record your own comments – we did this.
• There is a Cairn and sign at the summit indicating it is the highest point in WA (interestingly, we found several different heights for Mt Meharry listed both at the summit and in other locations around WA. From 1248 – 1253m above sea level).

"Just a quick zip up early morning. The fire spotter was going up too and had some good information from her. First half is following a wide track and second half is steps (just over 300 of them, including a ladder section). Very simple." — donizen • Jan 14, 2018
"Very hot day (41 degrees at one point). Solo trip and did not see another soul. A few times thought of turning back due to the heat but my supply of water was holding out so eventually went to the top." — donizen • Jan 14, 2018
