The location of the peak on this website on the day turned out to be incorrect. It was showing in the centre of the woods. There is no public right of way so I went stealth mode up the field divide from Salt Lane. Initially I went straight past the Trig Point and into the woods. Within the woods is evidence of game hunting and I would assume the land is owned by Adwell House Farm. After going around in circles trying to match the summit on here I looked at OS Maps and realised it's way off. I had a horrible feeling in the woods that I was trespassing and as I headed back towards the Trig Point loudly snapping branches and rustling leaves - 15 metres ahead I see a flat cap wearing guy in wellies. The M40 is quite close, so I can only assume he didn't hear me. I swiftly exited the woods expecting at any moment to be shouted at. Looking back it was apparent I hadn't been seen - a miracle. Anyway, the true summit is simply the 'Mound' next to the Trig Point - on OS Maps it's clearly shown as 148m and the Trig 144m.
