A nice hike, persistent incline, good workout. I did this route counter clockwise which was the easier way up Adams Mountain. The east side of Adams is quite steep and would be a tough climb. Going down that way was a little treacherous in places. There is apparently a great lookout to the south of the Adams summit which I skipped but have read that it's quite a view. Bagged Todd Mountain as well. No views from either summit but it's a secluded and pleasant area with lots of old stone walls.
