I opened 2021 with the personal record. On New Year Day, I hiked over 47km in 17 hours car-to-car to ascend Adams Creek Lookout in Willmore Wilderness Park and then traverse to the highpoint of the long ridge, which peakery refers to as "Joachim Ridge". This is by far my longest day on snowshoes.
The best part of this trip was a 5km ridgewalk between Adams Creek Lookout and "Joachim Ridge despite the ferocious wind that sapped my energy. The ridge is Class 1 terrain (hike).
