On a Ramblers' Association hut to hut tour. From Winnebachsee Hütte we followed the path to Winnebachjoch. We ascended on the ordinary route (grade F) to Winnebacher Weißkogel. The route goes north and then west up Weißkogel Ferner to join the north ridge near the top for the final bit of the ascent to the summit. We descended to Winnebachjoch and then over névé to Westfalenhaus. Unfortunately a member of the party had a fall and broke his arm. The following day we descended to Lusens and he received medical attention. He had to withdraw from the rest of the tour.
