Alan, Dawie, Marc and myself climbed up from Mt Rochelle reserve via Perdekop. From perdekop we hiked a mostly direct route off path towards wemmershoek peak. the route dips down before ascending back up. The last scramble to the peak is beautiful and the view is sublime. We took in the sunset here and then headed down to the plato for sleep. The next day we continued on and exited on to the N1, just before the tunnel, in the du toits kloof pass.
