Hiked with Heather Darling & her one-year old twins, Loralie & Anson. We met at the trailhead around 11:30, in spectacular somewhat cool summer weather. The hike to the top was not strenuous for either of us even carrying the kids. I really enjoyed all of the carvings into the stone at one of the lookouts - was very reminiscent of Overlook down in Woodstock. The view was really wonderful although we did anger a hawk that must have had a nest nearby to where we stopped further along the ridge- boy did it squawk and swoop around us until we were back in the woods! A very nice little hike with excellent company.
