Solo. From car park near Fallburn on well trodden path to summit of Tinto. Higher up there is a choice of two paths although this is not shown on OS 1:50,000 map. On the summit is a gigantic bronze-age cairn, 45m in diameter, and on top of this is a recently erected view indicator, not quite finished. There is a trig point to one side, not on the cairn, so the trip point is not at the highest point although it may well be on the highest natural point.
