A perfect day to be in the high peaks of the North Cascades. This has to be the easiest 8,000+ foot peak in Washington to climb. Lots of downed trees in the first mile, but all easy to get around, and a steady but not steep climb throughout, with incredible views on the summit from Mt. Baker to the Selkirks. Overall rating 9/10, amazing views/work ratio, highly recommend to anyone passing through Winthrop with a few hours on their hands to spend in the mountains

Any snow problems ?

MountainQuest

Nope, we were pleasantly surprised to find that there was no snow on the trail, and almost none left anywhere on the mountain. By this time the whole mountain will probably be completely dry
