So proud of my two girls who joined us up this steep but short trail to the peak. The lookout is amazing. What fun it was to dodge falling ice from the trees as the trail warmed from the morning sun. To hear it crackle from above and crunch under our feet in the quiet of the morning was so amazing.

We hiked via South Ridge Trail. Started at the trailhead by driving to it via a very rough and a bit muddy dirt road. Don't attempt unless you have the right vehicle. You may need to hike to the trail head.
