Day hike from the Overseer Hut to the Cable station via the Eastern rim, Smuts track and Maclear's Beacon returning via the central route down Echo Valley across the dam with the cement road to the Overseers Hut. Unfortunately the paths at the top of Skeleton and Nursery ravine are quite confusing due to many short cuts being followed and corners cut. Smuts track much more strenuous than anticipated as one climbs a good 300m from the southern table up to the main table itself.
