Did this as a warm up for a hike of Mount LeConte the following week. The mountain has been turned in to a pretty extensive downhill mountain bike park which looks like a blast. There is also some history to be seen along the way as the Confederates attempted to bombard Fort Davidson from emplacements on this Mount during the Battle of Pilot Knob. Summit is typical Missouri… wooded and no view. There are however a few overlooks along the main hiking trail.
