Hiked with Corey. The final bit of this ascent is a small but tricky class 3 scramble, and the crux will probably cause anxiety for most novices as it feels a bit exposed and handholds are few. The views at the top are quite worth it, especially with a bit of snow still on the nearby taller neighbor Squaw Butte. It was as green as I've ever seen it in the Owyhees. We're having a great spring here in Idaho.
