Good route through Cape Santa Pola in which I have enjoyed sun, tranquility and fresh air. Some tourists in the tourist viewpoint area and almost no one on the surrounding tracks and trails. At the beginning I find a warning sign for hunting activity on Thursdays and Saturdays, today is Friday so I go calmly. From the viewpoint next to the lighthouse you can see the beautiful Island of Tabarca and many kilometers of coastline. The geodesic point is on top of a bunker from the Spanish Civil War and next to old anti-aircraft batteries. This entire place is a large plateau full of pine trees from where the city of Alicante was defended during the war, now partridges and rabbits roam freely, chased by hunters on Thursdays and Saturdays in season. The rest of the days, hikers and cyclists can relax in this quiet place.
