After lunch at the Wheatsheaf Inn, Brigsteer, DB, RP, BC and I took the lane up onto the limestone plateau, following its western edge up to Wainwright's summit and on to the highest point. We then headed north down to the north car park, where my car had been located. Cloudy and windy, but the rain had stopped.
