On a Ramblers' Association hut to hut tour. From Tribulaun Hütte we went up to the Schneetalscharte. We scrambled up the west ridge of Schwarzewandspitze with some fixed cables to a secondary top, then turned a steeper section on the N flank. There is a 10m vertical step with fixed cable and iron spikes. The grade of the climb is F. From the summit of Schwarzewandspitze we continued to Obernberger Tribulaun. We descended the eastern slopes to Obernberger See. We found accommodation for the night.
