Where Encino HIlls Drive spills into Mulholland Drive, Mulholland turns to dirt. I parked there and made the sporting decision to hike it the rest of the way to San Vicente Mountain. Granted, it was only a mile away, so the hike was no big deal, but I also prevented getting my car all dusty. I visited the old missile facility on top and climbed the tower. Afterwards, I continued on toward Sullivan Benchmark, which was the next mountain to the south.
