Such a great but exhausting trip. Blue sky and the high Tauern AIps always in sight. I did it years earlier in summer and from Resterhöhe, so this year it was much harder. I startet from the first chairlift mountain station from Pass Thurn at about 1760 meters. I walked the complete route on snowshoes. On the base of the peak I nearly decided to break off, because I was so exhausted and I had a long way back with ascents in it. Buut...well...I couldn't break off and did it. : )
I surely would do it back anyhow.
Out for the count I reached the chairlift, but it was closed for 10 minutes!!! Oh no! But the attendant had pity on me and called his colleague with the snowmobile. So, I had on top a cool ride downhill. Awesome, I will always remember.
