This reminded me of the old days -- a beautiful long hike on a nice trail for a single cache. A nice 6+ mile hike on 90+ degree temps with probably 1500' in total ascent. No rattlesnakes encountered on this hike, but I geared up with long pants and snake guards just in case. I took a nice long nap on the way back...

This was certainly "back to nature" today. The trail is overgrown in spots, but still easily navigable using These Tracks. I only got off-trail once for a couple minutes and that was 'cause I had things zoomed out too far.

This was another 46-Climbs To Conquer Suicide hike for me, in support of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP). Way too many self-inflicted deaths in today's society.

I found the BM first and signed the nearby peak log. Then headed over to cache GZ. Took a while to spot the cache -- it was in a bush and the hint threw me off. The cache, itself, was a mere formality - nothing special here to find. TNLNSL

Thanks for the fun and Happy Hunting!
