I took a taxi to Qiong Long Shan Dong Wu National Forest Park. I paid the 80 yam enter ace fee and headed up a path towards some thousand year old Taoist temples. From here I found a trail behind the temples and followed this along the ridge line until reaching a sign which I believe represented no cars or people (aka no trespassing). I circumvented this sign and found a dirt trail leading across the mountain but below the summit. Eventually I found a rocky clearing in the forest where I left the trail and made my way up the loose stones in the direction of the summit. The last 30ft or so was a difficult bush whack through rose bushes with thorns up some tricky rocks to the flat summit area. The true high point was a rock across he summit road. There were some goats and a dog on the top. I could see movement from people in the distance. I'm not sure if I technically was allowed to be up there, but I climbed the summit rock, took a selfie, then headed back down. I took the bus back to my hotel.
