Puu Kehena is the site of the Upper Kohala Field System Research Plot. The summit provides a beautiful overlook of the expansive Kohala field system, however, Puu Kehena is on private land and one must get permission to hike there. We found a concrete triangle at the summit, dated from the 1930's, probably put there by the CCC.
