"The Bear Den Natural Area has ancient glacial "pot holes" carved in the stones on the base of this hill. A n interesting natural occurence created by glaciers more then 10,000 years ago. A trail leads you too the pot hole area where a short bushwhack style accent quickly brings you to the summit." — mikezilla • Jul 27, 2012
"always a nice visit to the Bear Den Natural Area aka the "Pot Holes" which is a unique natural formation in a small area of stone on the base of this hill, caused by glacial errosion 10,000 + years ago. hit both sides of this hill, the southern side has a really nice vista where the northern end is the actual summit with no views.
