Third time's the charm. Finally managed to beat the heat by getting an early start. The early morning fog made the first part of the climb so much easier that the 2 previous days. Ran to top of Snively's Ridge and then took a use trail over to the peak. Followed others advice and took the right path at the junction. It veers down and around the middle knob of the ridge. Covered in cobwebs and burrs, I stumbled out of the bush onto the broad summit right next to the watchtower. Another path heads over to the true summit. Once back over the use trail, enjoyed a scenic jog down with views of marine layer over Carmel.
