The parking area and information kiosk were in fine shape on this first really nice day (sunny upper 60s) of the year. I took the direct route to the summit and saw evidence of the former observation tower at the top. The views across and up and down the Merrimack River are becoming more obscured. And I searched in vain for any summit marker. Followed an abandoned jeep trail down to a gate on the way back.
