Good mountain day with my son in Sierra Espuña. we stay in a service area near Totana and from there we headed in my car to the Natural Park. We use the path usual to climb to the peak, but we shortened it by a path with a steep slope to gain a little time and make legs. We ran into some hikers and at the top they took a picture of us. We saw groups of choughs and mountain goats near the top while eating lunch under a group of pine trees. The weather forecast failed, it spoke of electrical storms but it did not happen. We made the return around the Morrón de Espuña on the north side to Collado Mangueta, visiting one of the snow wells. We did about 20,000 steps or about 14 kilometers in total, at a good pace.
