Trail access: End of Nicholson Road, just south of Ellisforde, hwy 97. STEEP: Approx 1,160 feet elevation gain in the first mile. About a mile and a half to the highest point. Over 1,600 ft elevation. Peak with the cell towers on it isn't quite the high point. No trail beyond towers. Watch for snakes. Saw one bull snake, one deer, two Bighorn.
