From Gaillagos, Val d'Azun. Took the lane east to Arcizans-dessus, then trail north up the coombe to the Col de Liar. Then followed animal tracks steeply up east to the summit. Walk continued to Soum de la Pène. Very hot sunny day. Hardly any breeze. Solo.
