After a 3 day drive from Dushanbe to Barchidif, a zodiak cruise across Lake Sarez and 2 days scrambling up Ramaif Valley by foot (10 km, 60 kg gear) we set up a base camp at around 4200 m altitude in the plains below the mountain. We started on 24th July 2017 at 4 am in the morning and I reached the summit at around 10 am, after successfully summitting Solis Peak about 1 hour earlier together with Paul Hammer.
I named the mountain "Peak Pip" after my good friend who lost his life in the french Alps in 2017.
