After summiting Panther Peak, I descended the ramp off the summit, then worked my way around to the south slope of the mountain. I startled something - either a desert big horn sheep, or a barbary sheep (aoudad) - on the way down. It would be awesome to move that fast while climbing mountains! Anyway, I made it down to the saddle and then up to Peak 6282. From there I debated on continuing to Wright Mt., but decided to turn around. I descended the northwest ridge down into the canyon, then fought through the thick vegetation for about a mile and a half back to my car.
