I approach the town of Abarán to climb this hill on the east face of the Sierra del Oro. The day is gray and it is the first time I have gone to this place. I pass through a small neighborhood where I find the Church of the Virgin of Gold and a small fountain, as I approach the mountain the clouds cover the highest peaks but refuse to release the rain.
The views are interesting from this remote place. Walking alone in the company of my thoughts, I find an image of the Virgin under some pine trees that someone must have placed a long time ago. On the way back I make a stop next to the river, which is surrounded by vegetation and where some ducks swim, oblivious to the people passing by.
