Most enjoyable hike on a beautiful day! Mountain Laurel blossoms are approaching their peak. Parked at Trading Post and followed signs through campground to red-blazed Mountain Creek Nature Trail Loop to white-blazed Pool Trail to Peak 1083 ft, then off trail to highest point. Gina and Willette picked me up in the campground on the way back toward the Trading Post. This was Willette’s final trip to Pine Mountain, and I took a photo of her as she first saw the mountain laurel blossoms by Lake Delanor.
