10/3/21: Started from junction FR248.1A/D. Took ‘D’ to end and then bushwhack up forest marker line to tree-line. Open country to summit. Golden rivers of aspen on the drive up, blue-bird skies, and warm clear air. Awesome mountain day! Minor ridge summit has views back down Clear Creek and north to the Divide, to Bierstadt and Evans, and the entire Leavenworth Basin including all of the Edwards massif and Square Top. Great perch!
