The road turns to dirt at the end of Earley Way. This is simply the beginning of one of the many dirt bike trails interlacing the slopes. The route was easy to follow by gradually climbing to a ridge and crossing over to the summit of Olive Hill. Despite being off the usual hiking grid, it is actually a pleasant hike. Although, in making that assessment, I had to ignore the fact that the beginning of the trail was like a crime scene. A stripped down truck was even still there with some of its contents scattered about the area.
