I run and sometimes ride my bike up to the summit for my exercise. It is a great local hill to run or ride up from the bottom around the Booker Creek. There is also a small trail around the facility and another trail that leads to a Chapel Hill Park and Restrooms. To reach the summit access road, you can ascend either via Piney Mountain Road, or the two neighborhood hills Brookview Rd or Kenmore Rd. It's a great hill and getting to the summit feels like a real achievement. The gated access road to the summit is a nice touch similar in principle to many large mountain summits. Straight up from the creek it is ~320 ft climb. You can make your route have 80 ft more climbing for 400 ft total if you ascend via Kenmore Road to Cedar Hills Road which has an extra hill on the way.
