A challenging climb, surprisingly steep and rocky. But worth it. The many rocky outcroppings on the way up allow for some incredible views of the Deerfield River Valley and the Berkshires. At the top, bushwhacked just a little way to find the true summit, a small knoll not far off the trail. Many great views. The trail up is narrow and twisty, difficult in places but a fun climb. I parked at the Zoar Picnic area and walked a short ways to the trailhead but there is also a small parking area at the trailhead.
