Walked up from the Harold Creek bridge on Highway 6. The old track that has not been maintained for over 30 years was difficult to follow on the bottom flat but improved as the slopes steepened. It was fine weather with little wind but cool. There are great views from near the summit!
I didn't see any wild animals except for goats low down in the bush. There were four kea (mountain parrots) observed above the bush line.

A mate has started reopening up the old track. Access will be much better up thru the bush and scrub to the open tops of the Willberg Range once this job has been completed!
