I couldn't figure out Kane's description, which seems to be everyone's issue haha. Went pretty much straight up the main gully/drainage and then through a weakness/chimney where the main ends at the massive cliffband guarding the summit block. This is the best part: 40-50m of sustained Class 3 to Class 4 scrambling with some exposure ("difficult scramble"). Where the chimney splits, I exited on climber's left climbing over a chokestone.
I descended the route I think Kane suggests for the ascent and didn't like it. It's better to go down the same way.
