Did this while in New Hampshire looking for a place to live. Had flown in with carry on luggage only so didn't bring crampons and ice axe. Summitted successfully via the Lion's Head route but the way down was a little sloppy with wet snow, steep slopes, etc. Only had Yaktrax as a traction device and came down most of the way on my behind. Moral of the story: April is still winter in the Whites so come prepared. Apparently there were some serious injuries on the same route 2 days before I did it.
