The rain ended in time for our family, plus one, to enjoy this hike with amazing views. This is one of the easiest hikes we have done with stairs in the entire way up. We took the east trail which starts at the Olympic sites which is very interesting. The climb was humid due to the rain the few hours before but the the cool breeze at the top and the view was worth it. There are three different spots at the summit with overlooks all close to each other with views of the high peaks and others as well as being able to see the ski jumps in the distance. The hike back down was easy on everything but the knees with so many stairs. Would recommend to most people and ages.
