Camped in a rock bivvy in the head of Smart Creek. Climbed up to the ridge line having to cut my way thru the worst scrub then followed ridge systems all the way to the summit of Mt Treacey. There was a bit of scrambling in places but the narrow scrub band on the way up was the toughest going of the day. Saw chamois and kea (mountain parrots) and took a few photos of them.
