My Alltrails stopped at the summit of Mt. Scott's Boy and chopped 4 miles off of the hike. I eventually went up Hunting Horse Hill from the west then down the backside in a big loop. This was a TERRIBLE route, though the scenery was delightful. Please don't follow this route. It'll be impassable in the summer and was incredibly unpleasant in the winter. The weather was decent, with sunshine and strong winds. Saw no elk but lots of elk scat and prints. A lone coyote was up on the backside of Mt. Scott's Boy.
