Parked at the gate approx 4.5 miles below the peak and hiked the road up to the highest area allowable without entering the telescope area.You couldn't have asked for a more perfect afternoon with clear skies and plenty of sunshine. Enjoyed watching a peregrine falcon soaring from the rock cliff below the large telescope while making the last couple turns along the road.
