Beautiful day for these peaks. We did Edith North in 2021, but gave up on the traverse because of fresh snow overnight. We found all trip reports have accurate descriptions. The only real route finding challenge was getting down the descent gulley from Center Peak. There were still snow patches lingering, that had us second guessing our safest options. We followed what we thought was a cairn, trending skiers left, and nearly got cliffed out above steep slabs. We climbed higher to a better vantage point and discovered some proper looking cairns and what looked to be the best line. Wouldn’t want to be in the gulley with another party though. Lots of loose rock. With all the fun features and decent views, this is one of our favourite scrambles. Note: Cory pass trailhead is not accessible due to Hwy 1A closure. So we hiked up from Hwy 1.
