DW and I biked and then walked from Dunollie via Rewanui. The wx was mixed and when on the tops we could see it snowing and raining to the north and east of us. We didn't spend a lot of time roaming the tops because of the strong cold wind but visited the trig high point which the map calls Mt Davy but not Pt 1047 that we would have visited as well as other high points if the wx was more pleasant. The track especially through the taller bush is in surprisingly good condition despite no maintenance for years.
