Based for a few days at Walwa. Travelled towards Shelley and parked the car below the summit and walked up the tracks to reach the summit of Peak 858 m. Set up and activated VK3/VE-167, making 4 contacts. Packed up and returned to the car, drove to Shelley & Koetong and then into the forests to make my way around to the eastern side of Mount Brutal. Parked at the high point of Mt Brutal Track. Climbed up through the bush to reach the summit and operated to activate VK3/VE-155, making 8 contacts. Packed up and descended to the car. Drove back to the highway and made my way around to the car park for Mount Lawson. Climbed up the track to the summit. Set up at the base of the tor, below the radio installation.
