Late summer blue bird conditions and lots of climbers on the mountain. 1 SAR mission to pick up a hiker with a sprained/broken ankle. 4 hours trail head - Heliotrope Ridge, 4.5 hours base camp - summit. It was some slow going up to the summit with a lot of stop-and-go type walking because of the amount of people on the mountain making me wish I had worn my warmer socks. Another 7 hours to make it back down to camp, make some soup, break camp, and get back down to the trail head.
