An Anderson and Lowell hike. I came up Nancy Pond Tr and started my bushwack at Nancy Pond. It was thick until the southern ridge of Anderson. There, it was a mixture of think and semi open woods but I made better progress until reaching Anderson. Signed into the canister and headed off to Lowell. There were some cliffs I had to work around off of Anderson and quite thick with woods. Coming up Lowell wasn't to bad. I was unable to open that summit canister. Rather than backtracking, I decided to continue on to Signal Ridge Tr and road walk back to the car. Coming down the southern side of Lowell sucked. Quite thick and the woods claimed my GPS as well. Further down, the woods got more semi open and I was able to link up with Carrigain Notch Tr. I hiked out to the Carrigain trailhead then roadwalked. Halfway down Sawyer River Rd, a guy offered a ride in the his pickup and I gladly took it.
